ibiza
Would like some advice please,
Me and the other half are looking to book up a holiday to ibiza next year, as i've always wanted to go.
however, i have no idea where abouts on the island to stay.
I want to stay in an area that is gonna be relaxing, that we can still see the sunsets etc, but also we can go clubbing if we want to.
any suggestions?

if you want 24/7 nightlife stay in San Antonio ,if you want beaches and entertainment go Playa d'en Bossa or Cala Llonga ,I have stayed all over the island and there many fantastic locations as it comes down to what sort of hoilday you want

Nowhere is a better example of the magic and charm of Ibiza, than in the island's capital Ibiza Town (Eivissa). This really is the most fascinating part of the island, day or night, where you'll encounter a concentration of all the attractions and eccentricities which have made Ibiza world famous.
Explore the busy Port area, where the buzzing nightlife of bars, cafes and stalls sit together in a mix typical of Ibiza; the Marina, adorned with only the finest restaurants and yachts; the historic Old Town, whose magnificent 16th century walls guard a maze of spectacular restaurants and views; take it nice and easy in Plaza del Parque watching the beautiful people go past; shop to your heart's content in Ibiza Town's boutiques, stalls and bargain bins; dine in one of the many restaurants, for a moment of blissful calm amidst the action and you can even catch a ferry to Formentera or the neighbouring beaches!
Ibiza Town has an increasingly good choice of hotels and apartments to suite all pockets. Beach lovers often prefer to stay in nearby Talamanca or Figueretas - though each year more people discover the charm of living right in the centre of this beautiful and exciting town.

San Antonio is the place to be if you want to get MWI. But it is a total dive, place is a shithole but you tend not to bother as you are fucked up most the time.
San Antonio Bay is nicer, quieter but still close enough to walk or short taxi to the nightlife, plenty bars and restaurants in the bay too though.
Ibiza town is quiet and out the way. Probably the nicest place to be but deffo the quietest.

Hello Mate
I've been about a dozen times, with the lads and the wife. I always stay in San An Bay. Not too far around so I don't have to walk to far.
In San An you have the sunset strip - Mambo, Savannah and Cafe Del Mar and just towards the bay you have Bar M (Now Ibiza Rocks Bar), Bay Bar, Itaca etc. There are loads of half decent restaurants where you can get a reasonable meal.
Club wise in San An you have Es Paradis and Eden.
I always then just get a taxi over to Ibiza Town for a couple of evenings to wander around the bars and perhaps go to El Divino, Pacha and Space.
Hotel wise, last year we stayed in the Ses Sevines. It was aboyt Ł700 for the pair of us, clean and tidy and not too loud. Beach is straight outside and it is a 5 minute walk to the first of the bars.
Cheers

If that includes spending dont even bother. I go every year. Wasnt on a particulary wild one this year and still spent 250 euros a day. Not including hotel, flights etc. Ibiza is AMAZING but NOT a cheap holiday.

If you just want to properly chill out and enjoy the beaches, then Santa Eulalia isnt a bad option.
No night life at all there when I was there last but thats only ever a taxi ride away of course.
Ibiza town is a good call though, its lively without being as bad for drunk brits as San Antonia which frankly even makes bas vegas look classy.

You can catch the bus for 1.85 each but the last one back is 11.30 and things are usually just getting interesting around then

Go dinner bed and breakfast somewhere, its dearer initially, but thats all your food sorted then as if you have a good size breakfast anyway you'll not be hungry much before evening meal time anyway in that heat IME
Obvioulsy not as enjoyable as finding somewhere different to eat out every night, but financially very viable.

I fookin love ibiza. Ive been 3 timers now. If i were you i would get c hotel in san antonio. We have stayed at the bellamar hotel twice now. Its a bloody lovely hotel and it opposite the west end at the other end of the bay. I would hire a car n explore the island that way. If i won the lottory i would have a house out there. You have to go to pacha night club cause its just amazing.

I hated Ibiza. The whole idea of a holiday is to get away from England. But instead, people go to Ibiza and all you get is mostly British tourists. God knows how many people i ran into when i was out there lol

I went to Ibiza with a good mate of mine when I was 18 so 7 years ago now. I foolishly let him make the booking and he booked it with "allocation on arrival".
We ended up on the opposite side of the island!
However, in a way it was a nice thing. We just had a proper chill in the day on quiet beaches, there was no trouble, no lairy brits etc. and then early evening we got the bus across the island and hit the nightlife - a taxi back the next morning was about 35 Euros.
Thinking back though, we both blitzed ourselves financially and ended up getting cash off our credit cards about 3 days before we were due to fly home!

Catch no11 bus to nudist beach (ses salines) airport side of the island or walk to Cala Bassa beach, eitherway peaceful.
Would agree with everyone above though on it not being the cleanest place.

been a few times now, with the lads and partners (at the time) and still love the place as old as im getting, defo stay in the bay, short water taxi across the water each night to the lively side (if thats your thing - was mine a few years ago ) or the pubs/late bars on the bay side.
it is very expensive, in one week with the lads i spent Ł1300, in Es Paradis a bottle of water was Ł8 iirc. you just pay it for the experiance first time, done some great foam parties in Eden as well !
not been for a few years now, was never a dump but was very lively and a lot of street pressure to come in bars !

im not gonna go into detail about my experience in the last 4yrs in ibiza but all i can say is its the best time ive had in my whole entire life so far! Totally agree with what painter paul and chip have said. Agree that san antonio is a shit hole in places but imo thats only in areas that us holiday makers need not wander off to. The sunstrip bars as said are amazing, u can then wander a bit further along the beach edge path and end up at a bar called kanya. Is paradise siting outside there when night is falling having a nice evening meal and a few drinks with some good beach house music in the background before then walking back towards the sunset strip and then to the west end strip where all the bars are on the upwards hill. See how good it is, i have started going on about it without even wanting to. Best nite for me was last yr sitting there having my dinner outside savannah watching the sun disappear and nite arrive sitting at a table on the beach side decking with the swedish house mafia on the decks just behind us. Couple nights later it was the pre party there for david guettas fuck me im famous night with all these amazing french dancer girls throwing out rubbers into the crowd whilst shouting free sex lmao. Pete tong on the friday nite was good to. Gonna shut up now lol.
