All I know is that they came off a 3 door so I thought they would go straight on my car.

except that 3 doors have different front hubs and rear arms to saffs, the wheels will stick out further on the saff on the front at least
i had 18's on my xr4x4 they caught the arch lip badly on the front however on my 3door there is more room allthough they would still catch....just, only i took them off as they dont suit it anyway

i have avo adjustables on mine which seen to work ok but the rear has been left with standard springs so it sits a bit high i think i will buy a set of lowering springs i think once they are fitted that should do the trick cheeRS jason.

Stunning car mate, had a very good look round it at Ford Fair, love all the carbon detailing, looks even better in the flesh than it does in pics.

17's are the biggest size alloy to go on a saph imo
with regards to coilovers both avo and gaz are pony, cheap n cheerful and you get what you pay for
I have avo's on my car and the ride is rock hard even on the softest dampening rate, I want to buy myself a set of BAD (Black Art Design) coilovers but they cost £1300 for a saph and £1800 for an escos but they are meant to be the doggies goolies

totally agree with that, mine handled better on 17"s, but not vastly, i can live with it for how much better the 18"s look!
I am on the hunt for some 17"s for track use though
