What's the best shampoo? ive been using autoglym but it does'nt seem to foam up much!!!!! not very exciting I know but hey it is monday

Chemical guys wash and wax is fantastic, loads of foam(still have some left after finishing the whole car), and it gives a glossy polished like finish, great stuff.
Its also very concentrated so you only need about half a cap to a bucket(the cap is small)

Foam isn't important with car shampoos. Lubricicity is. (Ok I made up that word)
You usually find foaming shampoos have a lot of additives.
I like Dodo juice born to be mild personally. And I would never use a wash & wax.

 

The above has plenty of that, you can feel it when your washing the car with it...........

 

Do you mean you cant feel it when washing the car
Coz it just glides over it.
Theres probably not a lot between any of the shampoos tbh.
Back in the day I used to use Johnsons baby shampoo. Got the tip off a limo driver and it worked really well and is dirt cheap

megs gold class is ok as well.....

As someone else above said it's not all about the foam lol, you want a shampoo that makes the water slick so as it lifts the dirt without scratching! You want to be using a lambswool mit, and personally i've been using:

Chemical guys stuff is slick, thats what i was trying to say but didnt know how to say it , it leaves the car like its been polished

 

i use the halfords own brand stuff gets the dirt off what more do you want

 

i've been wondering this aswell, as i'm sure the autoglym one used to foam up more.

 

I can get loads of foam with Autoglym, just make sure you swirl it around a lot when you put water in, does the trick with me.

Ive got Chemical Guys Maxi Suds 2. Really good and smells amazing too, its like marzipan

 

Ive recently bought dodo juice sour power and its miles better then any previous products ive used! highly recommend it.

 

Halfords were doing Zymol on buy one get one free, really pleased with product.

i use this with a cpl of megs lambs wool mits also make sure u froof it up if u want bubbles but its the product that cleans the car not the bubbles 4 cap fulls in a bucket enough to be able to first snow foam with snow foam then wash then rinse then wash again i no anal but i get carried away bit like pringles once u start u can,t stop....
