Default Anyone have probs playing 1080p youtube vids?

Just wondered, as ive got a quad core intel and my internet is only 2mb but i can watch them perfectly, it does take about 10mins of pausing for a 4-5min video but it plays back fine.

A friend has got a old p4/1gb of ram and 10mb internet but it plays laggy as hell, i guess its to do with the processor more than internet speed?

Anyone else have probs?

Does he actually have 10mb internet? I mean, has he done some sort of decent speed test? It's probably got as much to do with graphics card capabilities too.

You just type in 1080p on youtube and you get loads of options

So must be just very very old pcs that are a no no then. I know athlon isnt exactly new but its better than my mates old p4

The problem I get with them is it doesn't buffer enough - it will stop after a bit needing to buffer again.

Virgin 10meg.
