Hi guys, just made the switch over to a 27" iMac but I can't seem to get Entourage to work. I've put all my POP3, SMTP info etc in as per my PC settings but it just doesn't seem to want to work? Says my Account ID and/or Password are wrong, although I know they aren't.

Any tech guys got any idea?

 

I've found the best things with Macs is to google your problem. With Windows I would sit there for hours searching to solve a problem, but with Macs it takes 30mins at most

 

Yeah I've been trying to Google it but my emails are hosted by Gmail but aren't .gmail accounts so the info on pop accounts etc is all wrong :S

 

Delete the account you have in Entourage quit program and reload account, it really should work, if not right click delete program and reinstall from Microsoft Office Disc

I would enable use of IMAP for a start, much better.
Are you using Google as your mail host for your own domain name?

or are you actually using a google mail account; a .gmail, .googlemail, etc
