Escort cosworth track car build
New to pf, I've had this car now for just under three years and in that time I've been collecting parts to enable me to finish it off, i bought it as a part finished project from a good friend, hopefully once i get going it won't take me too long...... but as i know with all projects anything can happen

engine wise, its an rs500 small core plugged 205, its got pocketed pistons a large inlet cam and a restricted t34 with marem shaft, other than that I'm not sure of the exact spec of the engine as it came in the car already built,
The final spec is not yet decided, to say I'm looking at 450-500bhp anti lag ect is where i want it,
The transmission side at the moment is 2wd T5 and a 3.9 ratio gripper diff which again come with the car

Very nice looking project, part of me does wish you would rally it though, not enough of them rallying these days.

Steve what's that gold stuff like? My bulk head matting is fucked and I need to come up with an alternative. Will that stuff easily shape and stick to a saff bulk head

It is pretty good stuff from what I've seen, Clayton has used it on his mk2 British airways escort and it fits all the panels perfectly, just throughly degrease the bulkhead and use a little wallpaper seam roller that's what I'm planning to do anyway mate 👍🏻

I had some tape roll of the gold stuff for a bit of heat reflection here and there in the bay, but have to say it's not very sticky. Thought like similar chrome tape it would stick like the proverbial to a blanket, but wasn't very impressed given the cost of it. Ideally looks like it would need another adhesive in there to do the job properly.
Can I ask where you got your sill stands from?
Cheers
