Anyone who says a GT35 comes on boost at 3k is a goon
You wont be running 35psi @ 3k/4k/5k...maybe 6k...with proper boost control...no doubt you got serious BHP.
Do you really think that you just run rings in even if bearing tolerances are correct?...oh dear!...Yes rally cars were run in for 100miles but they dont have to last long!

What i think phil thinks mike, is that if it was boosting at 3k it will ALWAYS surge, no matter what spec, on a YB.
Im just guessing that as hes always on about surge...

Phil sorry you are correct as normal,
Let me see now what have i built
3.6 ltr twin turbo , 4.0 ltr twin turbo 7ltr twin turbo 7ltr normaly asperated, 4.0 ltr supercharged just a few engines to mention i think i know what im doing phil on running an engine in.
Its called experience
and not just building the odd cortina engine now and again eh Phil
And mike is correct you can get less lag and no surge if you speck the engine correctly
Look out side the box Phil there is a whole world out there
You need to stop going down mcdonalds car park and listening to harvey and Hamhed on sunday boy racer night
See you on track
Or not
