J4 to the tolls is about 15 mins if you know where your going on the back roads, i can do J3 to the tolls in 10 mins on the back roads, and you come out at the tolls, i came up the M20 one day with my mate and it was Qing back past to J4, and he bet i couldn't get to Elite in Rainham essex in 30 mins, bastard took me 31 mins, but still not bad going

Il give you that, most lorry crashes are caused by car drivers not realising etc, but when theres signs saying 'not suitable for heavy goods vehicles;' and they still drive down it, il refer you to my earlier comment of 'dopey lorry drivers'

We had just passed junction 27 and then it was fucked. And on the a12 there was a 6 mile tailback to the m25, I know because I was driving past the other way.
Fuck going back through that.

I have no choice in driving past those signs as many of my deliveries are to small workshops on a farm ,middle of nowhere ,one road i go down regularly ,the truck mirrors are rubbing heavily on the bushes both sides ,we dont go down these roads for a laugh you know

to reply to the original title ..........i left Tilbury docks this avo at 1.45pm and took me 4 1/4 hours to return to Croydon ,normally takes 1.5 hour without rushing

And another thing that the "dopey lorry drivers" do to annoy people is totally ignore those "time trial" lanes one on the a14 and one on the a34 , the signs clearly state no vehicles over 7.5 ton to use the outside lanes betwen the hours of 8am and 8pm and the fookers still use them
