Side strips
Hello,
I want to remove the side strips on my fiesta mk5
whats the best way of doing this?

i just carefully prised mine off. then peeled any sticky stuff off with a stanley blade then a bit of thinners takes the last of the sticky shite off

heat them up a bit then pry them off and use thinners on a rag to get the rest of the sticky stuff off

Tar and glue remover is a good bet for the residue,heat gun for the stripes,gently gently and it's works a treat.

How far away about should i hold the heat gun as i don't want it to start taking the paint off!

dont use thinners, use autoglym 'bug and tar' for the glue
works well and no paint damage!
