Excessive speed is only dangerous at the wrong time and wrong place and in the wrong hands, as said, doing 90mph on a deserted motorway is totally different to doing 70mph in a built up 30 zone, the whole speeding thing is blown totally out of proportion because speeding drivers are an easy target when comes to fines etc.
Imo, the most dangerous drivers are those who never indicate, have got no idea of road sense, or any consideration for other road users but you cant put cameras up to monitor these drivers, you actually have to catch them in the act which would mean doing proper police work, so it doesn't happen!!!
These sort of programs are just to try to justify all the speed cameras and to try to convince us that its not just a big money making racket!

any speed that is excesive for the conditions is dangerous
you can get in your car, drive at 70 mph along our motorways, then go to germany and drive at max attack pace, go round the ring, then come back and go back to doing 70 mph again when you get across the channel
nothing wrong with that on the motorways and stuff, and when you get back to the normal zones you do the required speed and stick to the limits
what pisses me offf though are those types who will do 45 mph along a country lane where they can do 50 or 60 and then carry on doing 45 mph through the towns and villiages where the limits is 30, so you spend all your time getting pissed off behind them twats and there is nothing you can do about it because if you try to overtake them, the fuckers put their foot down
had plenty of them on the motorway yesterday too, plenty of empty space but they sit in the outside lane doing 65 mph, and when you flash them to move out the way they decide to slow down, or if they do pull over, they then put their foot down to make it more dangerous for you
