Does anyone have a program that will make a poor quality movie in to a better one?

ive got a program called divx repair
never used it so dont know what it does
think it just repairs the bits that jump could send it to ya
if u want

 

unfortunately if the input source is crap then the output source will be also...
Crap in = Crap out
You may be able to improve the quality slightly but if the bit-rate is low to begin with then there is very little you can do

 

ive tryed that one already,doesnt really do much,I think that normaly just rebuilds the index rather than make it a better quality,

cheers for the replys guys just getting s better quality vid now,the vid is meet the fokkers,only 533meg but the next is 1.57 gig so should be a bit better at least
