Default Stopping next doors cat shitting in my garden....

Just had new neighbours move in next door and they've got this fatass cat thats already decided to shit in my garden a few times. Earlier on my little dog was going spastic at the cat as it walked along the top of the fence in between us. The dog wouldnt attack him but the cat looks a nasty smug bastard and I dont want him shitting.

Now I HATE cats with an absolute passion but wouldn't hurt one inhumanely (although I have thought it!!) so what can I do to stop the fat fucker A: coming in the garden, and B: shitting in it. The fences are 6ft high so thought of perhaps putting trelises (sp!!) on top, but then he may just walk on them?

Any ideas? Is there something I can paint the top of the fences with or something?

Cheers
Chris

pmsl @ botters / escort!!!!!!! Would love to do that as when i lived at home cats always used to walk on my cars, not really feasible these days!!

Someone suggested som upside down round guttering along the tops of the fences so they slip on them??

you can get a repeller that just keeps cats away and wont upset your dog. They are rods that you put in the ground and give off a strong citrus smell.

you can paint sticky stuff on the top of the fence(grease etc)
that'll stop the cat walking on it
and should hopefully keep it away fron your garden
if that dont work, shoot it,
i hate cats too

Stand in your garden and when the car enters, calmly pick it up and drop kick it back over the fence, after a few days it should get the idea

pmsl!! Well first purchase has just been a long range super soaker, i'll keep her loaded by the door and see what happens!! Think i'll try that silent roar as well.

Good thing is the cat looks quite old so can't be much life left in him, bad thing is they may buy another fooker when he pegs it!!!!

A little saucer of milk with a few drops of anti freeze in will do the trick, apparently they love it.
