mk3 fiesta, what colour??
4 months ago i bought a mk3 si, now after getting through her mot and fitting a few new panels a bit of filling and some mods the car is almost ready to be painted.
i orginally planned on black as the car is currently ash black, but after talking to the guy who's going to paint the car im now looking for new suggestions.
any ideas people? feel free to post some pics.

what style is the car going to be, i.e track'd up with a cage etc, if so then id go bright and borderline garish, green maybe
if its street car then more subtle but with nice deep lustre like a deep mettalic grey or dark silver
does it have to be fordy paint

dont want anything to larey & i have a modest budget, i was thinking a darker shade with some items highlighted in a bright colour
its going to be a road car at first, but hoping to go down the track route within the next year.

There's a lovely gunmetal colour on Mazda 6 models, very recent colour.avoid panther black as it looks browny grey in some lights, crap colour IMHO.best bet is to either see a colour you like on a car, take the reg down and ring your local dealer asking for the colour code.Alternatively pop down to your local paint suppliers and look through the colour charts to see what you fancy.

as above said, frozen white. Its for sure the colour to have at the moment. Frozen white with gloss black wheels. Dont go for 2 tone with the bodywork parts. For dark colours, theres some really smart colours out there that look dark but the colour really comes out when the sun hits it. I saw a saab convertable yesterday at a car sales place that looked like a very dark, well purple grey gold mix and the gold and purple really shimmered out where the sun was hitting it, very strange colour.

10K+ Poster!!
What about a really bright white like a mercedes or porsche white? Or for a darker colour you could just get sattin black, or what about nato green, which I think is a love it or hate it colour.
