KFB in St Andrews did those, along with every other thing in the shop battered. That place was the essence of Scotland, deep fried everything, fags and booze all under one late night roof!

Can't believe the Scottish folk on here that's not had one! I used to get them quite regular, at lunchtime at school. Last one I had was 2/3 weeks ago! Can't beat a half cheese pizza in batter. Tastes great.

I remember in Men Behaving Badly they got a battering machine and battered opal fruits
