haha its bassically electronic controlled valve timing. more power when needs, less fuel consumption etc. So I guess its much like VVT.

u have to laugh :L my neighbor just up the road has just bough a new BMW and was telling me how this is superior to any other car on the market you see, because it is built with efficient dynamics

salesman can chat some drivvle.

but from what i understand of this multi air thing is, its actually rather clever. its like an electro hydraulic valve actuation that at full power lets the valve open all the way, at low rpm's lets the valve close early for 'extra air trapping' and when the engine is at idle is barely opens at all and opens late, so i guess its most comparable to a variable cam.

Similar to BMW valvetronic then, which is a very good system. Efficient Dynamics is good too, the MPG for such luxury and performance, as well as low tax bracket is impressive.

fiat multi air is an impressive piece of equipment, having multiple valve openings (done electonically) per cycle, whilst retaining a mechanical valve opening for full throttle conditions.

means you could have a really lairy cam and suffer no fuel economy or idling problems. its is more to go wrong though (especially as its built by fiat )
