I hated Apple for years, not really sure why. But the iPhone has revolutionised phones and most designs out there at the moment replicate it in some way. I currently have the 3G, but i hope to get the 4G soon (once the bugs are fixed)

As a business phone it's not brilliant but for everything else it's way ahead. If you want just a phone then get a Nokia 3210

@rich170 stop crying about it hitler, and pick your dummy up.

Over a million Iphones were sold just in the first weekend it came out. FACT.

i havent used bluetooth since i had a 3210.

iphone is the best phone out there on the market and near enough does everything you could want it to do.

so stop throwing your dummy out the pram and stick to your 3210 with snakes on it

i reckon you still got a vhs

johnny, youtube works fine over packet data, they will probably have your default internet access (or only if theyve removed the operator one) going via your company's proxy server, which probably blocks youtube.

nothing abnormal there.

also in my opinion the BEST blackberry cuirrently available is the bold2 (9700). That being said, they all do more or less the same thing so the main difference in them is build quality and looks as oposed to features.

I have a Bold 9700. Signal keeps dropping off, but I get that problem with all these new fangled phones. There are so few areas where you can actually pick up 3g it's stupid.

That aside, I think it's a great bit of kit

really? you sure about that?

if you have problems with your signal then try setting it to 2G only or 3G only. This will also help battery life if you live on the edge of a coverage area as it stops your phone constantly renegotiating

altho that wont help with voice calls which use GSM

Absolutely.

I expect it at home as I live way out in the sticks. But I can't get it round by my other house either, which is only 15 miles from Birmingham and in a built-up area.

When I'm out and about on the road I marvel whenever 3g appears in the corner of my phone! The South East seems well covered and I can get it in Wolverhampton. And that's about it!

I live in Somerset, and work in Bath - I get 3G probably 60-70% of the time.
