Iphone 3GS to Iphone 4....whats the difference
Getting my Iphone 4 Thursday but really dont kknow what the difference is with them..... I know it has a flash, better battery and HD video.....but what else.....

drops call, shit sound quality on calls and reception poo, FAR better screen and battery life much better....
battery biggest bonus I have found so far.
do we REALLY need to keeeeeep going over this!!!!!!

After all the negative press and the inability to do the one thing that its name suggests, I'm surprised people are still buying these things and hinting to Apple that their customers don't mind defective, locked down products as long as they look good.

My first iPhone 4 had the no sim error but was replaced by Apple at their Genius Bar and havent had a single issue with dropped calls or reception. If people are having these problems then take it back to Apple and they will replace the phone or give you a refund if you wish.

As I've said before, buy a 5 year old nokia and it will have more features than an iphone.
The iphone's user interface is bloody superb, just a shame its not backed up with anything half decent. Its all propaganda, you must buy an iphone, but you must have itunes, you can only talk to anyone else who's got an iphone, and you must update it every 5 mins to fix our fuck ups.

i had iphone 3g for 18 months and now have iphone 4. the best phones every made.
i know atleast 20 people with iphones. no problems

My gripes with Iphones are that it cant do the basics such as......
Bluetooth to non iphones
File handling
True Video calling
Why should I have to jail break them with non approved software or pay for extra features when other phones such as Nokia have been doing it for years as standard. !!!!

VERY true... Maria called me the other day and did the Facetime thing and was going crazy!
I was like... this is OLD OLD news. Had this on old phones years ago and it worked over 3G network... not just wifi!!!

yeah i have had an iphone and after a month im back to my N86, at least now i can bluetooth anyone and anything, i can manage files and transfer with cable aswell and just using windows(no software or nothing nokia needed), i have a superb camera and video recording capabilities which Apple have only just recently caught up to, and guess what, you have to pay stupid amounts for it because its so new and awesome
Apple are clever, but also a bunch of clowns, give us something bang up to date with all the features you'd expect on a phone at half the price, then charge less then you do for a half arsed phone(that'll be all versions of iphone then) and ONLY THEN we'll be talking

I had it for a year and it sat in a draw ever since... so its not mint no.
I have an iphone4 so dont need a 3g no.... but I guess its worth more on ebay than my N95 8gig

Hype sells phones, but unless the phone lives up to expectations then the sales will surely decline? Sales are as strong as ever, so it can't be just hype.
Maybe it's because the phone is incredibly well targetted to do what the majority of consumers want - and to expect it to be cutting edge, is missing the point of what it is?

Why is every IPhone argument on here about not being able to bluetooth photo's or files to other phones?
I haven't used bluetooth to send files since I first bought a phone with it and then just never used it when the novelty wore off.
A PS3 has bluetooth, but cannot send files via it, yet no one brings this up. An XB360 doesn't have bluetooth, yet both can store videos, photo's, etc. Why do they not do it? Cause bluetooth is slow. Copy it to a memory card in a few seconds or download via internet in a few minutes.
My surround sound system does have bluetooth and my IPhone works perfectly with it VIA bluetooth! Im not gonna send files to it cause its a surround sound system, not file storage.
As to why you would send files to your friends via a mobile? Get on a PC or Mac and send the original LARGE resolution file to the person and let them copy it to their phone, digital photo frame, games console, memory stick, etc.
or you can use the IPhone to email it, which is much faster and better than bluetooth! Bluetooth is only good for communicating to other things, such as handsfree kits, speakers, headphones, etc not a file transfer tool.

Well i always use bluetooth is just quick/easy and convenient, i mean to do email etc you need some kind of a internet/cellular connection, which is not always possible, and how many times has it been where a mate says "can you send me that", well errr no i cant because i have an iphone i guess its horses for courses, but for me its not great not been able to bluetooth, but i do understand why some people say they dont need it etc

Im just stating bluetooth was designed for communication between devices, which the IPhone bluetooth does and works well. Just cause it can't send files does not mean the bluetooth is shit like most people are suggesting
