Heres the MK3

http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/news/39573..._revealed.html

Focus ST will debut straight away. Also, RS is in the works

Not sure about the electric motor though. I say 2L AWD 300bhp+ Turbo will be ideal.

I dont think theres going to be a ST or RS model straight away as most images from mags are photoshops plus IIRC there isnt a 3dr model at the moment in the 2011 focus, just sedan, 5dr hatch and estate

Also you don't need AWD, been proved on the mk2 FRS and if it is then will probs be the volvo polestar awd system on the C30 400bhp concept but then you looking at a Focus well over £40k

The pictures in the first link are genuine as the car was shown at the Detroit Motorshow and will be on sale in 2011 with a ST being in the range within a few months of release.

The RS is a photoshopped. Everyone says AWD is not needed but proof is proof and it does torque steer as power is increased. And they always say the RS needs a racing link. Well if they want a racing link, give us a 2L AWD and lets see Ford give Subaru and Mitsubishi a run for their money. But we won't get that cos 'Ford' don't have any bollocks.

Who cares if the Focus is 40k? They just proved it'll sell for 30K and 36K. Pretty sure there are people who will spend 40K on something that can slay most the competition.

I meant the RS pics are not real, i know the mk3 is real ive worked on a few at work I don't see anything in the first link about an ST? if the yanks mentioned it, then might be a North American trim level since the American's have a ST focus but its not same as ours, only focus they have had close to our ST range was the SVT which was an ST170

The RS doesnt need AWD drive, if you cant handle torque steer thats the drivers problem as its not as bad as say the mk1 FRS personally or a non ford like the Astra VXR, racing link well it kinda does, ok not bang on like a WRC RS or the Team AON Focus but still has links, and Ford do play with different designs but now days they have a different market they wish to meet, dont get me wrong my fav car is a Sierra RS500 and i wish Ford did make crazy cars like they did, but governments always set new laws meaning companies like Ford need to make sure they meet those requirements so they can sell vehicles, we always joke at work that emissions have got so clean you cant even kill yourself on them anymore

Yes it will sell for £40k but not in great numbers as other cars as most people will have to buy them on finance so sure it would put people off and same time again as much as i love Fords, for £40k its not going to be up to the standard of a Mitsubitshi Evo or Subaru, Ford have upped there game in build quality as the new Mondeo, Focus and C-Max all have very nice interiors
