Team HOTHOT!
i've got standard size but grooved - you'll have to ask RS Gus what make they are as i got em from him
also its the pad selection that makes a differance aswell - good pads is better brakes, cheep pads you may not stop

Firstly, do NOT buy drilled and grooved discs (they crack around the holes ), just go for either plain or grooved.
Personally, if it is just a road car, I would stick to the OE Ford ones.
You can get 310mm "big disc kit" that fit the standard callipers (brackets move them out), but they will not fit under any of the Ford RS 7 spoke wheels and the extra leverage gives a much improved braking. Also bear in mind that you really should always fit brand new pads with brand new discs...

yep i agree with Mike for a road car - good pads will make more difference than expensive discs.
I use Rally Designs' plain discs and Mintex 1144 pads, no complaints at all, been on there 2 years including a few track days, and they were the cheapest discs around!!

Proper standard ford discs (i.e. walk into fords and order them) are really good. Much better than the usual rubbish
I have also used rally design discs and had no bother
Also tried the usual suspects pad wise and warped countless discs with shit pads
IMO the best pads are either Performance Friction carbon metallics (but these are MEGA dusty), or Ferodo DS2500's
Neil.
