Young guy at work who is taking driving lessons comes in last week and tells me that he is driving his girlfriends car about(no L plates on) .I say to him "Dont do that as you will end up getting caught, and get a ban before you have a licence".He then replies "I wont get caught im a good driver" Then proceeds to tell me what he has been up to in it (CHAV).Then a couple of days back he comes in and says "Fooking got stoped by the police earlier, they took all me details and said they would be in touch".Then says"dont think anything will happen though".I then said "What did i say last week to you".
Now has any one got any idea wot he is likley to get from the police,
the owner of the car was next to him when they were stopped,no L plates showing ,he cant be insured.

He's likely to get 100 quid fine and, depending on how lenient the judge is, 6 points - though these wont stop him from getting a license, but will remain on it. This means if he gets even one speeding fine, he'll lose his license.
Also, he'll be lumbered with an IN10 for the next 5years - so will probably face insurance companies hanging up on him left, right and centre, and will end up paying about 3k just to insure a 996cc panda.
Also, she'll maybe get done too, for letting him drive.
Serves him right. if its an absolutely non-descript car he must have been driving like a total fanny to get pulled.

no insurance is 6 points no matter what iirc.
a few years ago, a mate of mine borrowed his mates car to buy some fags, he was insured fully comp and thought he could drive other cars.
got pulled over and he got 6 points and a fine, the guy whos car he borrowed also got 6 points for aiding and abbetting or summut.
both had to reapply for licenses and re do tests etc
i hope the little prick is shitting it now, and its wiped the cocky smile from the burberry donning chavs face

He'll be charged with driving without a liscense and no insurance and she will quite probably be done for allowing him to drive knowing he had no liscence or insurance. His insurance once he does obtain a liscence will be silly money as well.
Hope the judge throws the book at the pair of them. No sympathy whatsoever. If nothing happens then he was bullshitting about being stopped in the first place.

Clever cocks regeting it now I bet.
My Mates sister did similar, she drove her Saxo 3 days before her test, she is 18 and had her 18 old mate as co-driver, no use as she hasn't had her license long enough.
Gave he a top bollocking and she hasn't been as stupid since, she failed her test

Think this kid is a complete Cnut Just the sort of ass that smacks one of our Pride & joys & cant cover damage / injury compensation
On the bright side though His bird will soon be up for grabs as she`s sure to dump him.
Lets face it they are both going to be off the road soon & she`s going to need a bloke who can drive her about

it depends really.. if he aint insured on her car.. (as a provisional driver) then he is gonna have to pull his pants down
If he IS insured.. then it may just be a matter of failing to display L plates IF she has been driving 3yrs or more (she is 21 so its possible although unlikely)
for the L plate offence he will prob get a slap on the wrists and a Ł100 fine..
for the offence of IN10 then he will get fucked.. 6 points, Łxxx fine...
She would also be likely to recieve upto 6 points and a fairly hefty fine.
