Default look what i got tonight
its been a long time in the waiting but i finally got my long service watch off my two bosses tonight & i got to say im chuffed to bits with it its more than i ever expected .ive worked for them for 27years so its 2 years over due but who cares




its bloody heavy but i like it a lot

FOR THOSE THAT DO NOT KNOW ABOUT WATCHES ITS A TAG HEUER AQUARACER CHRONOGRAPH ,IT COST MY BOSS £1295

im quiet youthful for the time i worked for them i started work for them when i was 16years young now im 43 years old ,so im a lot younger than rod

nice watch..at my last job we would get a gold watch of some sort for 50 years service..thing was to do 50 year with them you would be at least 66 year old, and they had a habit of making you redundant before you got to 65..happened to quite a few sales reps and managers

im a supervisor for a engineering company we make any thing from fire escapes to foot bridges for the railway with lift shafts ,stairs &ramps & pretty much any thing in between

nice watch, at our place you get a "Rolex" (use the word Rolex in the loosest sense of the word) after 10 years service, I certainly wont be getting one because I leave next week after 14 months.

In the council here, you get a gift and certificate when you retire if you have long service. One guy retires tomorrow, he's done 46 years at the council so he gets his certificate and gift to the value of £100
