Default frst suppressor?

Hi all realy need sum help and info on the suppresor and what it actualy does please for the car,does it need one or not too ? Thanks for any replys hopefully i can get my car running right again runnin ofab

Suppresors are used to stop electrical noise being picked up on stereos amps etc, do you need one ?, if you have no noise then answer should be no.

is the one which plugs into the engine bay wireing loom near to where the jack is,my local tuner thinks its causing the running probs ive been having,im not too sure,ive got one on the car now,is this one just to stop noise interfearance? thanks for the reply

Some ecu's are said to be very sensitive to noise in the wiring, what exactly does the suppressor connect to the actual item ?

its the one that plugs into the diagnostic port for the ecu it plugs in near the jack and map sensor its a triangle shape connection,its nearly 100 from ford but not available they said so thought it must do sumthing for it to cost that much?
