Tony Adams crashed a black (or dark coloured) saph into a wall at the bottom of my road in Rayleigh.

He had been in the Hungry Horse (Rayleigh) and was heading to a house party to carry on drinking (canvey I believe).

He has a detailed version in his autobiography.
