as said rub down, prime(i used high build) stone chip, 2pack paint, i used clear over base

seems pretty durable and i think hammerite can be a bit hard and chip easy in my experience

Should b able to get 2pack at most paint suppliers still,I only use solvent!!!mix it 2:1 with hardner and add 10/20% thinners.U could use basecoat/laquer if you want a metallic finish were you put the dull basecoat on first(mixed with 2k thinners only,I do 2:1 but some say 50:50) and then the laquer 2:1 with hardner and 10% thinners.don't u have to use heat resistant paint/laquer on a rocker as it gets hot?

Oh well, that sounds good mate, didn't like the finish of VHT much myself,it always seemed soft and didn't look black.
