What a shocking person this Paul Hills sounds. Bodge after bodge, fuck up after fuck up. Why anyone would go near him for ANY engine work is beyond me. And if its true he is working with Jano then wtf is Jano doing. One sure way to ruin your tuning business. Employ Paul Hills

Wouldn't it be fair to let Jano comment on this before everybody hangs the guy? Met Jano a few times and he's an alright guy, was happy to chat and share info when I was at the FF thrash with him a few years ago

Before this gets out of hand, and people turn it upside down as normal. Ill explain without getting into politics as much as i can.

Firstly any issue at essex meet had nothing to do with me other than an old customer of mine, had his car stolen and accused someone of taking it. It got out of hand as things do in life and i was defending him as i would hope any friend would. However what this has to do with any maping skills i have, or dont have... From people's point of view, that have never had anything done by me is quite funny.

I have been building and looking after customers cars for over 12 years now, if anyone wants real customer feedback then all you need to do is some research. I work on my own and try my hardest to do the best i can for each customer and make sure that my reputation stays as good as it is.

If anyone has real issues with anything then i would ask for them to contact me direct and i would again do my best to make things right if that was the case. I would like to think that my customer relations is just as good as my work.

Regards
Jano

Hear hear. The ammount of times I've rang Jano at 10-11 PM on a Saturday-Sunday night when I was having trouble with my car and Jano sat there and talked me through it, sometimes upto an hour at a time, what it could be, what it wouldn't be, have you checked this, whats this saying, and I didn't even buy the management from him! Like to see some other tuners have that sort of input.

I have no doubt that Paul Hills is a good mapper when he wants to be, he's had some mapping jobs that a lot of tuners on here would love to have I suspect.

The sad fact of the matter seems to be though, that generally he just couldnt give a fuck and doesnt do the job to the best of his ability, thats certainly the feedback ive seen.

you've always come across as a sound chap from what i've heard and fair play for coming on and having a say wihtout having a pop

but

there seems to be a bloke by the name of paul hills who, from all accounts, has a fairly good reputation for producing some bodges that would make the labour party blush, and has now attached himself to your company

if this is the case then his poor reputation will cause a problem for your good reptation

if this is not the case (that he's working for you now not the reputation thing) then i think it would be benificial for you to make this fact known to everyone

i've not met him or you in my life and can only go by what i read so i'm not jumping to any conclusion here
