I dont blame you. I wouldnt want my company connected to Paul Hills either, unless I was in the scrap metal recycling business.

 

I absolutely disagree. He did very bad and extremely bad.

This should never be put to bed. I can never forget having to fork out over ten thousand quid to fix his bodge. On top of the double that amount I spent with him in the 1st place. He overcharged, claiming to be something special when he was a con man fraud who talked a good story.

There is always a chance he could get fed up working for AER (whatever he is doing there I dont care!) and he is the one person who must not be allowed to return on the scene. We must all be aware of this idiot incase he ever decided to use copper tubing as a tuning component again!

 

all this rubbish about hes lease expired so he left the tuning game,,, if he was doing soo well then why not find another premises like loads of other places are required to do,,, some of em have to get bigger places due to there trade being soo soo busy !!!

yet hes lease came up and in the whole of england he couldnt find another garage to rent,,,, in a time where unemployment is at its highest ???

notice the ppeople who belive hes work was good ALSO belive that story !!!!

 

luke worked for austech then got fed up then started enhanced performance wich im now also involved with...so yep that is my escoss wich was abcs..didnt get a good run at coombe due to the prop breaking on the first outing...will be at lyden on saturday though.yahooo....ian i do feel for you mate i realy doo but to be fair youve just let him get away with it...this should of been sorted one way or the other ages ago atleast then you wouldnt still be so bitter...we al deal with things difrently.. danny

 

listen theres so much bullshit on here...paul or hes company obvouisly fucked up here and there theres no disputing that with ians car but for people to say he doesnt know how to map etc is talking rubbish..hes mapped a few cars of mine some on f88 from scratch and no probs and now aer have took him on again at a fucking good wage so dont think the blokes a fool because hes not...as for shutting down shop well as said the way the economy is and the cost of new units etc compared to a solid anual wage??what would you do???

 

I have had a car on my rollers with 4 x 803 greens that made nearly that amount of power, it was running quite high fuel pressure though.

I did hear that he wasnt renewing the lease on his unit many months before it was due to expire but didnt really believe it. Then I forgot about it until he'd shut up shop.

 

There is one difference though - your rollers are accurate! His at the time were not! Or should i say the operator was not accurate or more importantly honest about what he was doing.

I think the main problem is the way he just disappeared without telling some of his customers, some who i know and always defend him yet he still didnt have the courteosy to let him know.

i think youre missing the point, we know full well that he took money to map cars and he DID NOT map them. unfortunatly that means we have no idea if he know what he was doing or not

one thing we know for certain is that he was a fraud, unfortunetely we don't know how good he is at mapping as he never seemed to actually do it

 

surley he must earn LESS money being employed than if it was working for himself if he was really good,,,,,, otherwise how can hes new boss stay open if hes staff are being paied more than he can earn ????

that statment makes no sence and its obvious you are a employee and not a employer

i get paied a fairly decent wage with a generous bonus but its less than 10% what i actually earn the company,,, the bonus is less than 5%

i cant see how any employer could pay there staff anything more than 20% of there profit and i dont know of any that would tbh pay that much and still expect to stay in business longer than 18months

but again im a employed person so i could be totally wrong here maybe he is earning more working as a mechanic/mapper for a tuner than he was paying hes staff wages,,,,,,,, in a successfull company with loads of happy customers and he just couldnt justify paying 20k a year rent on a unit and still turn more cash than being in a job

he must be paid VERY fucking well then is all im thinking,,,,,,, or hes old place wasnt turning the big profit it used to be or could be hence needing to look for a job

most areas they are virtually giving away industrial space just to cover costs or they are having to knock it down to circumvent the empty building rates.

 

I heard from quite a reliable source that "he was unsure about the future" and couldnt justify taking on another 5 year lease! As his 5 year lease expired on may.

I still think he made a massive amount of money! However, only those who worked for him can verify that!

Again, I think he knew he was going to be rumbled, had lots of unhappy customers and chucked the towel in before they all lynched him!

It also proves what a blatant liar he was as only a couple of months before he vanished he came on here defending himself and said business was better than ever and that he was doing very well!

so if he lied about that he can lie about anything......including the amazing bhp figures you all had!

Dont you find it a bizarre coincidence how you couldnt recreate those amazing figures at a different rolling road a short time after an EA dyno session?? Hmm must have been the warm weather that day lol!

And bit like my mates old WRC Escort that on a T35 was given a engine dyno print out of 462bhp by Tommy Field yet lost 50bhp when it went on some rollers 5 mins later up the road. Hmm strange one that!!

 

Taking money for stuff he didnt do I cant comment on personally although I know he did it to others!

Id like to think I got the better of him but Im afraid I cant. After all, he skanked my for a load of money, and when my car repeatedly blew up, showed me the door and got away with it. So I'd say the last laugh is on him. But yes it is reasonable amusement to think he now has to answer to someone else, just a shame its not to ask how many sugars the want in their tea or if they want onions with their burger!

As to the ABC chips, they need not worry because Pauls stuff was copied from Mountune and Ahmed anyway. His off the shelf stuff that he used to burn off and chuck in your cars were very good. So absolutely no need to panic! I'd have one of those ABC chips anyday! Plus they would be checking them in the car also for det and AFR etc.

However, I bet their origins could be traced back way before EA started!

 

How are they going to check for det and afr if paul taught them how to map lol..

I heard the EA rollers is only a power run tool now as ABC themselfs can not map ?

Yes, know him well and he's done some really nice stuff. And his Escort Cosworth was absolutely flying at Castle Combe last weekend until the propshaft died!

Just a quickie to say that although I haven't got my car back yet from Enhanced Performance, Luke is a great person to deal with and the service, expertise and customer care so far has been spot on.

The car should be with me tomorrow and be on track on Saturday. I'm very excited.

hi sorry to butt in over a period of months i took my car to two so called engine tuner,s from essex ,one was paul hill,s the other was a very close friend of his,in the immed area,after mapping my car between them, after three different session,s and under 800 miles ,my gt30 turbo was sent back to cr turbo completely knackered,car was then taken to nms everything ok now ,also it has come to my attention that the second tuner ,charged me for a set of bd14cams,and put diff cams in,the actual mapping was disgracefull,i am in the process of suing the e tuner,after app 1 year of frustration i have now sold my dream car ,white rs500,sorry about the rambling,s

 

Would this be the same tuner that attempted to make an Audi inlet plenum and failed drastically?

 

sorry for legal reason,s all i can say is his workshop is on a farm,close to a small village

 

what is it your actualy sueing this tuner for as earlier you said he didnt map it and that paul hills mapped it??

hi ist tuner did eng mod,s gt30 ext wastegate etc,and mapping after two attempt,s ,he suggested taking the car to paul hill,s aftera further two visit,s all under supervision of ist tuner,car was still missfiring and hunting when cold, also siung him for selling me bd14scam,s as agreed on engine spec,and putting something alse in not sure if these were new, all above error,s have been corrected by nms, who i find to be trustworthy and honest

 

what cams did he fit?as there are lots of cams out there that are the equivalent to say a bd14..was the gt30 and wastegate fitted incorrectly then??did you find out why the car was running so poorly in the end??just curious cheers

 

Strange twist to this tail,but my mate had his car looked after buy abc motorsport and went to there workshop to find they had packed up and closed down !

The man there said they had gone ?
