When did ebay fee's go up?
Jesus 10% final selling fee.
doesnt make it worth selling on there anymore with that and paypal, you end up loosing like 15%
and for the agro and time wasted by complete tools its really not worth it.
think i'll just stick to buying shite on there, and 80% of the time its cheaper in the shops, people just presume because its on ebay it must be cheaper lol

Ive noticed lately that loads of stuff is dearer on ebay than elsewhere.
Cage for my clio for example is 30 quid more on ebay than from the seller's own website, the case with built in battery I bought for my iPhone was cheaper in tesco.
It used to be that 99% of the time ebay really was the cheapest option, now it very rarely is for anything thats decent quality, its only for utter shite its really cheap, and I tend not to want 2 pound electrical items from china etc anyway, Im finding myself using it less and less as time goes on.
And when I do I end up realising it was a mistake, like a few weeks ago I made the mistake of buying a stud and nut conversion on there for my clio, only to then see afterwards its cheaper from rally designs.

i used to sell quite a few phones on there about 6 years ago brand new, i bought them on sale in carphonewarehouse then sold them for 30-40quid profit on ebay!
some people just dont use their brains on there, the ebay fee's are peeing me off lately, only use it for classifed adverts now and again

RARE THIS, LIMITED EDITION that, people believe whatever they read on there its hillarious.
NO longer available from fords, extreamly rare.

What was shit about them?
Thats probably where these came from anyway, do you really expect them to be any better?
Mine seem fine so far, but have only done 1 trackday on them.
Fucking SO much better than bolts when it comes to changing the wheels though it has to be said!

Reckon its a lot busier now than it used to be but also the charges must have gone up relatively also.
give it a go as you dont have much to lose surely.
Also try gumtree and loot, etc.
Also, just to say ebay isnt all that bad apart from the fees as i recently sold a home theatre amp due to upgrade and was honestly only expecting 80 odd quid for it and it sold on ebay for 157 - the buyer collected and paid me cash and i then have the the 10% fee to take out as ended up with about 140 odd quid so not bad at all.
Also, on the other end of the scale i have sold some E30 parts and those fuckers didnt even move off 99p with loads of watchers as they all want it for next to nothing.

i buy stuff from amazon all the time and, assuming it's the same stuff that you lot are talking about, it's great
you get to leave feedback and all sorts and the stuff can be hugely discounted as you are buying second hand rather than new, even though the stuff can be mint
not tried selling though mind

I'm selling some things on ebay, usually charge Ł65 for them but because ebay take the piss, i've put them on ebay for Ł75. Covers their charges.
I can't help thinking they are starting to become too greedy and it'll end up back firing.
