paint stripper is prob the quickest way... all are as good as each other, its the prep that makes the difference between a good or lovely paint job... if its an old car you can acid dip it , but that means stripping eveything off theshell and obviously meens a lot more work...

wire brush and sander, paint strippers very effective but can cause reactions when you repaint it and will eat thru any plastics it comes into contact with.

obviously will need sanding with a higher grade afterwards to get rid of scratches ,then some high build primer will see the rest right

personally i would steer clear of any paint stripper as does cause problems with fresh paint sometimes !!

take it back down with that then go over it with 120 grit etch and then a good quality high build primer spend more on this don't get cheap stuff

for all the bits you carn't get with da use a wire wheel on grinder not a five minute job i would do one panel at time then etch it as you go

cheers dingle
