inside of my exhaust is all black just wondering whats best to clean it up want it shinny again cheers people

The inside will always be black mate what ever you do to clean it. As soon as you start driving it will go black again.

run the car for a hour on hard boost then stop and lick it clean ! why on earth do you want to clean the inside of it ?

really fine wire wool with some metal polish will bring it up a treat, did it on my r32 when I had it

Brilllo pad and shampoo for the main shit, then finish it off with autosol, or meguiars metal polish and a cloth. I used to use Mr Muscle oven cleaner, just spray, leave and wash out.

I have a 4" tail pipe so plenty of room to give a good polish, it always reminds me of a ex girlfriend.

cheers for all the replys im not sad or a bufty just i cleaned all my car today and couldnt getr the exhaust clean its thick with black shite just wanted to try get it looking nice dont see any harm in that

Better try that if it's thick, I think only some strong chemicals will do the work. If it comes off well and good from thereon try to clean it often in order to prevent it from becoming too thick, though however hard you try on the cleaning it will become black again.

honestly mate dont bother its a total waste of time i did it a couple of times and within minuites it was black as fook agian.

if you must..some apc,rags,stiff brush and shitloads of elbow grease,autoglym to finish it off..good luck!!
