Default Personal Loans

Bar Porkie Who seems to give the best interest rates for a £5000 loan over a 36month period these days.

Is it worth trying the likes of compare the market and money super market etc?

Thanks

All depends on your credit rating really.

Best I found when looking for a loan for my sister in law was 8.8% with a variety of companies but she applied to Tesco who was one of the 8.8% companies

I have read that Nationwide are now doing 7.7% but you need one of their accounts which you no doubt need to pay for so that negates the saving in the rate

8.8% seems to be about right at the mo. My bank (HSBC) are coming in quite high at mo in the 16% bracket.

Tesco and Alliance and Leicester seem to be the best.

Dan my credit rating is quite good, and im earning a solid wage now too.

Compare the market for loans is pish

Good for car insurance but pish for loans

% you see is mostly for account holders already and a different term applies then they refuse you anyway lol

Easier to stick with your bank and pay the higher rate
