Anyone ever moved from TalkTalk to Sky?
Missues has phone and BB with talktalk
shes about to get a new sky TV contract and i suggested it would be commonsensical to get sky phone+BB too, but as she's with talktalk sky cant just easily take the number over.
anyone ever had this before and dealt with it in a way other than having a new BT line installed?

Jim, if you're an existing customer with Sky, you would need a BT line before Sky could provision BB and telephone for you. What did you mean when you said that your missus is about to take out a new contract? Have you upgraded to HD?

Sky uses a BT line and so does Talk Talk,
Ring talk talk , tell them they are hte shittiest ISP in existence and ask for your MAC code. Give the MAC code to sky and in a couple of days its switched.
Not sure about actual home phone numbers

no taltalk does not use a bt line, theyre LLU'd
