Default Help Iphone Unlocking

Just got a iphone 32g 3gs through work, its on orange and im wanting to give it to the missues only she is on vodafone. She use to have iphone and lost it, so i know the sim would be compatable. anyone know how to unlock it.

Any help would be great.

Sorry for the delay................ your out of luck im afraid, thats the latest software which cannot be unlocked by yourself........... yet.

There is another way to do it but i would not recommend you try this other way because it sounds like your not clued up enough to do it, i could tell you but it helps alot if you have at least abit of knowledge first.

Your other option(and probably the best thing to do) would be to get orange to unlock it for you(if they do it?) if they do do it then great, you may have to pay 10-20 quid but if they unlock its much easier for you and it means it will stay unlocked forever, even if you update software etc

to be honest i think with step by step instructions il be able to do it. just knowing the software needed.

still worth it in my opinion as whenever you come to sell it its automatically worth abit more to people because its unlocked properly to any network, not just hacked by the user as a temp job
