Got couple of weeks left for my insurance but got renewal letter come throught saying they cant insure me next year.
My main problem is that i was will bell who use to let me drive any other cars but recently alot of companies including them have stopped that.
Does anyone know any other companies with the DOC cover?

depends on your age I think. at 35 with good no claims, fully comp we have other cars on it so long as you don't own them. but that is the misses policy. I have a traders policy so anything upto 51 grand I can drive. maybe a traders policy is best for you. how old are you

Traders everytime, part time with no premises probably suits u although I don't know ur circumstances BUT be careful as my latest renewal had a massive list of cars I wasn't able to drive on it,mostly exotic stuff but a few familiar ones like scooby turbos and evos popped up.also they don't tend to like modified, your covered but often tpo which can be awkward in business, obviously not in your case.I pay 725 for me and the missus, both 34 and with a respray business upto Ł20k liability, only Ł250 excess this year as well.

Bell are part of teh Admiral group so are a complete shower of shit. UI would almost put money on the extension having an exclusion on that part of the policy until you are 25, read through the small print of the policy as I know mine stated DOC but then in teh small print in all the crap they send you iit says something like "DOC part of thi spolicy is not valid to under 25's"

So he can go for a spin in his mates new cars for example.
When I was younger all the lads changed cars every second week so there was loads of opportunities to drive new cars-i know thats not technically what the cover is for but hey
And for plenty of other practical reasons eg helping out family or being able to borrow a car if he is stuck. It makes you more flexible.
Mate Im pretty sure quinn direct still allow this but be aware they are bastards if you ever needed to claim on a policy

I got a classic policy with HIC and that allows me to drive any other car 3rd party, Im 23 been driving 2 years. I think the car has to be 93 or older to qualify.

Qunn direct does and I am guessing thats who you got the letter from as I got one as well as they went into administration for a while, so long as you have held full EU license for a year then you have it unless that has changed recently with them.
I know of no other company who offers it to under 25, unless it's the mentioned classic insurance.
I can see one day this will be history totally as so many some people abuse it.

Caught the end of an item on the radio news this morning about the sheer number of parents "fronting" car insurance for their kids (claiming to be the main driver when it is actually the kid who is the main user).
They called this practice illegal but, whether it is or not, I'd say that's another area about to be clamped down on, though.

Years, and I mean years ago, eaglestar offered it,the other car didn't have to be insured either, just not in your name....u could even tax off it!!could u ask a trader to put you on their policy?not the easiest or cheapest way but then you are covered for anything.regarding the fronting up issue, that was tackled years ago by companies just charging stupid amounts when the teenager was mentioned!!!

Quinn Direct did this for my when i was 17 and 18, although i'm with a different company now as quinn have gone bust.
Shame really because it was ideal if I need to drive a friends car if they'd had a drink or whatever.

I've never had doc, I'm in motortrade and been insured on my own for years, clean license and no claims

Managed to get hold of a traders policy, with me and my dad. Can drive up to 1.6 petrol 1.8 diesel, and unlimited for business use. I told them i had a claim in the last 5 years then they said they, i can not use it for social domestic and pleasure.
