Does the fuel pump prime when the ignition is first switched on?

If so and there's no fuel pump on cranking, it does indicate a fault with the crank sensor or wiring. If the crank sensor isn't working, you won't have a spark or fuel pump operation.

the ignition module needs to be mounted on the heatsink plate with a paste

i know of a melted ecu after 500miles on a new build due to garage mounting it direct on inner wing
