Default 3dr help please

My mate has just bought a 3dr cossie with the engine out the car etc ive fitted the engine back in today and plumbed it all up etc.

But now the problem there is no spark or power going to the fuel pump at all,does anybody have any idea what the problem could be?

check the ecu is switching the fuel pump relay

I had this on mine ,turned out to be the Immobiliser mucking about.Wouldn,t start all day. Left it for a few hours and it seemed to have sorted itself out.

is the loom pluged in to power up the ECU its behind the glove box

yeah loom is pluged in to ecu even tried another ecu

cps or make sure the dizzy plug and the cps are not mixed

Does the fuel pump prime when the ignition is first switched on?

If so and there's no fuel pump on cranking, it does indicate a fault with the crank sensor or wiring. If the crank sensor isn't working, you won't have a spark or fuel pump operation.

The pump dont even prime mate,im going back over tomorrow to have another look so ill try cps etc

just had the same problem with the fuel pump and it was my ignition amp not earthing properly

the ignition module needs to be mounted on the heatsink plate with a paste

i know of a melted ecu after 500miles on a new build due to garage mounting it direct on inner wing
