Switched it on to watch Star Trek III The Search For Spock in Blu Ray and whilst the external hard drive was loading my films it beeped and switched itself off So naturally I unplugged the HDD and switched it back on, all seemed fine for about 2 mins and then it powered off and I quickly saw the yellow light before it went red. Now, that was pretty sickening I can tell you, I spent about 45 mins to an hour scanning here and the net and it's rubber ducked. Now as soon as you switch it on it beeps, goes yellow and switches off.

Consolewerks in Basildon will be receiving a phonecall tomorrow to find out about them repairing it for me.

Of course, appreciating that I would be a miserable cunt each evening, the Mrs decided that we box up the Wii, controllers, nun chucks, and all the games and take it to Cex in Maidstone high street to see what they would offer for it, £179.99 of the queens english pounds and bought a PS3 40 gig model for £170, got it home, ripped the 40 gig drive out and slapped in the 320 gig drive, had to format it sadly but I had the saved data backed up and back online within a 14 hour period of it breaking.

I have a 12 month warranty on the second hand one which is good because something is rattling around inside it

and the state of the controller is fucking shocking, I will have to take it to work tomorrow and clean it thoroughly

havn't had any problem with mine so hopefully won't do
although saying that mine has fucked up once and came up saying software couldnt read or some other bollocks
