thought my post was invisible for a while! imguessing this is a decent speed then, compared to yours anyway..wouldnt be surprised if my computers fooked! too many virus' fromporn sites no doubt

Christian... if i had your ping my Call Of Duty online gaming on the PS3 would be vastly improved! Hope you get sorted soon, as i know how you feel to be messed around by BT and their stupid unreliable lines!

is that your connection?, that would be insane for downloads, what sort of package and where do you get the usage out of such a high speed mine used to be better but now we have to pay for it

Aaahh! i see, is that the incoming connection then before it goes through the panels, as i'm an electrician i work oround data guys and they have told me about some silly speed fiber links going into some of the office buildings in london

Can you paste your routers connection details, sync rate etc please.
Also is your router a netgear ?
as for me, i live out in the sticks. I think the speedtest server is wrong, because i was downloading at 335kb/s earlier.

i think mine lied...
our internet runs like a bag of shit.
we've got the supposed up to 8mb line but we live in the middle of fuckin no-where so we get whatever they can be arsed to give us the coonts.

Not bad considering I'm sharing it with 1700 other people I suppose...
Although one thing that strikes me as odd is if I go to our Microsoft VLA site and download an iso image over http I get trtansfer speeds of around 6 times what it says above.

I leave them uploading for about ten hours overnight and then in the morning I can see that a monster Future connection has downloaded it in a few minutes!
