Its sortable though.......you want an IR reciever "led" at the output of each device (whateevr the fook they are, look cool tho
), and make it repeat it to a IR emmiting "led" positioned next to the IR window of the other one, and visa versa.....essentially a repeater

Or some carefully placed mirrors. Or perhaps even put that lovely dash insert in the bin and start again!!

Bit of a shite design if you ask me, there fookin well expensive, but have to be mounted beside each other, why are they not linked by wires??

Would be easyer to mount though, are they both not linked to the control box by wires anyway?

Nah mate, blue tooth gives of a signal rather than a beam like infer red.
As a blue tooth hands free kit will work with your phone in the glove box.
