Default roll cage fabrication???

i need a harness bar welded onto my cage? any sugestions?

weld some on then mate . you just need some cds tube the same diameter and wall as the rear cross on the cage .

i was tempted i new there was a certain metal to be used just wasent sure what type

i was thinking about welding it across directly behined the seats and ust westfield/super7 harnesses. sound good?

im not sure what you mean mate . best to have a look at some proper cages and just copy it

picture the seats being fitted where the harnesses go through the holes in the seats i want to weld a bar directly to the main big loop of the cage directley behined the seat holes and the westfield harnesses bolt just hehined the seats as standard so i could atach them to the cage.

just thort it would look neater

anywhere structurally saefe would be fine as long as the harnesses aren't more than 30 degrees from horizontal IIRC
p.s. mk2 fiesta per chance?

hey forget your banger racing prep,,,, we got 3 weeks before the ring, gearbox is ALMOST out and i may need a strapping young lad like you to help me get the heavy bastard back it,,,,, that is if the fucker actually comes out that is, alot fucking easier doing a impreza box than i thought i must admit !
