i can guarantee 100% that an st220 could not catch a 600cc ninja after riding and driving both not a chance. unless ur mondeo is 'well tuned to the max init' and the ninja was shagged. ninja would run low 12s high 11s and an st220 runs like a 17 1/4

ive raced an r6 in a 400bhp+ cossie and didnt thrash him in the midrange just pulled away a little. he was in front off the line and i caught it up.

There is NO WAY he was trying, a 600cc ninja would kill an st220.

If its standard no. there was a 200 running at the pod last weekend, dont know if it was remapped, i had a look around it, it had a filter and stainless exhaust, and that was running 16.5 quaters. 200's are a fair bit lighter than 220's, so a 200 with a couple of basic mods will be quicker than a standard 220, so given the 16.5 quaters it was running, id say 17's is pretty close for a standard 220.

Bike vs car always make's me laugh. I personally don't like bikes but gotta respect them for what they can do performance wise and the riders with their mammoth balls. . Lol only bike vs car story iv been personally told is from a friend who has an old zxr2 i think and he told of a race he had with a turbo 2.5 v6 vectra and mid range pretty even, thats a old n reg bike 15 stone bloke vs a highly modified car and bike was still quicker hence why I'll never pick on one even it's a old shitty. Lol

I had a run against a bike the other week there, was white, blue and red (a pal suggested a CBR?), he turned in the road to follow me down to the roundabout leading onto a dual carriageway.. he was two-up and from about 40mph to the end of my speedo I pulled about 8 or 9 car lengths on him before I gave up and slowed down.

That was in a c340bhp Impreza Turbo, so your story of keeping a Ninja6 honest in a 220bhp Mondeo really does sound ridiculous buddy.
