Default Help advice escort rs turbo s2 manifold bolt snaped

Hello peeps one of my exhaust manifold bolts has snaped where the exhaust connects to the 90 degree bend that connects to the turbo there are two bolts. Now one garage told me very thing got to come of the turbo the lot but i looked at it and is it possable to just undo the bolts on the 90 degree bend and the other bolt that is left of two that is where the exhaust connects to it then have the bend where the two exhaust bolts go retapped and two new bolts for it i know the car will have to be jacked up some one said it is a simple fix.

take it right off, you can fumble about for ages it situ or just remove the whole thing & use this to remove the stud

As above, not much of a problem really to take the turbo off, i'd take the turbo/manifold off together. If you start trying to undo the turbo elbow nuts you'll end up with more than one snapped stud to worry about lol, they get brittle with the heat

What bolts are you struggling to find mate?
The 2 that you bolt the exhaust up with you can just use m10 bolts....the ones in the turbo housing (m8) you can get from a turbo specialist (i.e turbo dynamics), or failing that again bolts will work but do tend to come undone over time.

the ones that hold the elbow to the exhaust housing, tried turbo technics and a few others and not one willing to send me some studs and nuts. Im not desperate for them but would be nice to get them out of the way.
