As title, anyone on here going to watch or run?

I'm off to watch my friend and her mum. I'm planning to take my Escort van up with my mountainbike in the back. Head for somewhere near the route ish, dump the van, hop on the bike and try and ride round seeing them at a couple of spots.

I know it will be busy, but will moving around by bike be possible? Difficult? Nightmare?

I did the same at the Bath 1/2 Marathon and it was excellent, once off the actual route riding was easy and got me to loads of spots with no drama.

Anyone got any suggestions where to head for and park that's fairly central to the route?
