Track day tyre advice

As title what to peeps find the best for track days, 195/50/15
Where? Much?
Looked at the Hancook RS2 also, not sure though.
888's seem to be popular but have a lovely price tag! Can't get anyone local to supply.
All advice welcome

I use kumho v70a in the hard compound on my esccos. Think they are brilliant and cheaper than 888's. Have a look on camskill's website.

once you drive on full slicks you will realise how shite 888 are and other treaded tyres, i use full dunlop slicks in the dry and dunlop race wets for rain, i have as much grip with the race wets in the wet as i do with the slicks in the dry.
like these, you can get ex btcc ones for £100 set in 17"
