Tonight at about 9.05ish, i was putting the car away int he garage after giving it 3hrs of TLC, walking back towards my flat, and see a red light in the sky, it was really strange, and really noticable as no other light was in the sky apart from the white stars and moon,

I came indoors, turned on the lappy, and a friend of mine in Derby had posted on his status about red lights in the sky....

Has anyone else seen these tonight....and what are they??

ah yes, i remembere reading that thread back when you posted it!

I just noticed it cos it was so strange! The sky is extremely clear, can see all the stars and its so quiet without the planes about, to see this red light like that was very odd!

I can't recall if it moved somewher else like some have said in your thread, but it seemed to just disappear.... very odd!

it has something to do with the ash cloud probably. Up my way the sky was a odd colour at sunset and the moon had a strange tint to it.

Or maybe E.T wants to nuke us.

I saw pics today of sunsets from various places in the uk,

One of the sun's was "pink" yes pink! lol looked very strange! I also see a pic of the volcano which had green going through the cloud.. lol

ah well if its E.T then that's fine! no need to worry now!

that said, i do recall seeing red lights in august in northern spain.
