Question My 3dr on the rollers... What will it make??? update 25/04/10

As said my 3dr cosworth is going into REYLAND this week (14/04/10) and i thought i would start a post to see what you lot think it will make when martin gets it all set up and mapped. The spec of the car is as follows:
  • 205 block
  • 4x4 pistons 1st over size with valve pockits
  • Crank/rods/pistons/fly wheel have all been balanced
  • Polished ports in the head
  • Double valve springs
  • bd14 inlet cam standard ex
  • Vernia pulleys
  • Head size 1st skim
  • WRC multilayer head gaskget
  • Swedish plenum
  • Black 55 siemen injectors
  • L6 ECU
  • Wastespark
  • T34 turbo 0.48
  • RS500 cooler
  • Standard air box with K&N filter
  • TIAL BOV
  • Bosch 044 pump
  • The chip will be done by martin to suit the car

id have said more like 370 380, as its still on std cams with the above turbo

What compression r u on m8 and it also depends what sort of boost it's going to be set at.
I'm gonna say around 350bhp with the turbo you have and the .48 ex housing.

About 330-350 HP, standard cams are fine for around 400 HP.

out of the box on the compression mate and the car has been running 28psi up till now

At a guess I would say 360-370 but I know nothing ,no seriously I dont.
That spec though is more than when I was going to go for 400 except the turbo.

Just to throw a spanner in the works my motor is the same spec as my mate escort cosworth apart from the rear of the turbo which he has the big one and he made 409BHP 6. weeks back on the same rollers

the torque will be awesome more like 360 lb ft due to .48 housing but power will be around the 6k mark so 375 bhp at 6k ish and 360 lb ft at 4.2k ish

Cant wait to see the out come now!!lol

Little do i know but surely some of these guesses are TOO high for a .48 housing??

I was always lead to believe 350-360 max on a .48, oh-well, we'll see i guess...

depends on what you spike to and then hold as that will increase the torque.

say 32 psi spike hold 28 psi.

Then i would expect to see 375hp/360 lb torque
