Saddle soap and a stiff brush (like what you'd put shoe polish on with)..lather up the soap and then agitate with the brush.. rinse with plenty of luke warm water..

saddle soap is the stuff they use on horse saddles and leather to keep it suptle (sp) and you could get it from your local equestrian (sp) centre you may get it at a good pet supplies store too but not sure

the autoglym kit is around Ł20 why not call a mobile valeter, they may charge you around Ł20-Ł30 but then you know its done and no effort.

Is it mohair?.. as oppese to the nor,al vyinal?.. One other thing and this is basicly all Autoglym hood kit is to try is some dilute hair shampoo.. odd i know but it doesnt contain any of the ingrediants that leave streaks(forgett the propper name now).. the condition it in the same way.. that way the mohair stays soft

Well i went for your second option and it all went wrong, took it to a detailer and had a call saying its no worse but he couldn't get it any cleaner, well got there it was worse was not happy and just took the car away,

I then spent 3 hours with black shoe polish and it was looking good but by even the next day it was going back to normal, Its like he's took all the colour out of it and not it needs re-colouring.
