How hard are the fixit kits to get hold of, i know Mark (MAD) had trouble with them.
Mike has them advertised on his site.

For me it will either be this or a Pete Doughty box.

As already said you won't get hold of a "proper" box for that sort of money unless the seller doesn't know what they've got !

What sort of engine spec does the car have, i.e. do you really need a big tooth, straight cut, or the like, gearbox ?
You may get away with a fresh standard box with perhaps a bit of shot peening providing you aren't running too much boost in 3rd !

To secure a Fixit you need to put a serious deposit down now to have any chance of scoring one this year IMO

I have a new box (standard) that i got last year, I've only done about 3k miles in it, but my car is only a stage 3 and i totally obliterated the last one, basically i was wanting to see what is available before i do anything else to the car, no use in have all the bhp in the world and nothing to make it last longer than 5 mins, i.e 1/4 launches etc.
Thanks for all your input
