Default boost pressure of a typical turbo deisel?

in general are they higher than petrol cars?

reason is i have a 330d E46 BMW and it has a hesitation under load. ive had a diagnostic machine on it and no noticable faults on it.

ive done a live datastream on it whilst driving and i dont know if its normal but do desiels always show Absolute Pressure ie dont vacuum? when on boost its about 29-32psi ??? is this high or normal for a derv engine?

i know this would be high on a petrol std engine but i know nothing about dervs?

thats overboost, perfectly fine.
i`d check the map or boost sensor..... probebly full of sludge, quite common on them
backs off after about a second or two when accelerated hard in high gears

As said no vaccum, this is why vaccum pumps have to be driven to provide for brakes etc, I never thought they run 29PSI though!!! I presume that's standard?

I'm sure a modern TDDI Ford or the like runs around 10PSI.
