The Megane boys absolutely wank off over these. Standard R26 Megane tyres (Michelin Pilot Sport 2's) are well over £150 a pop and most of them fit the V12 Evo's instead and love them.

I went for the PS2's though, as I just couldn't get the Hankook thing out of my head. I just had them down as a budget tyre manufacturer. They do well in all the reviews though.

Camskill or Black Circles. Infact, I think Black Circles have a promo on them, at least they did a couple of weeks ago when I bought my Michelins.

http://www.blackcircles.com/tyres/br...ventus-v12-evo

Sounds like they do £25 off an order of 4 tyres.

Yet again i can't find a listing for 205/50/16, hardwork finding slicks and almost as hard finding R888's lol.
Thinking i need to go 17's just for tyre choice/2nd hand slick availabillity, i suppose i could then justify bigger brakes to fill the rim.

edited to add thanks for the link christian but no 205/50/16.

i have them on my mondy thanks to tabetha, will say myself very good tyre and quiet on the road too, cold and wet grip is just as good so fills you full of confidence and you can really tell what the tyres are doing

They do them in a 205/55/16 that's the nearest size I can find them in:

tiny little bit less edgier because larger sidewalls, more traction on accelaration out of slow corners and about 5mph top speed gained if you find you hit the limiter in 5th which is a possibility with you having an RA box

I already had them trimed quite far back for the 235/40/17 with the 245/35/17 you lose about 25mm of side wall so you get even more clearance so I could put the 10mm spacers on the back to run a rear offset of ET23, it just catches very slightly under hard acceleration, but my rear shocks are only set to position 10 out of 40 so i'm gonna tweek them today to see if stiffing them up alittle stops the rub. Failing that I might try 8mm spacers as it hardly touches the tyre doesn't even mark them you can just hear it.
Although I am still tempted to chop the rear arches out and just leave the arches bonded to the top bit of the arch (they are starting to bubble under the plastic arch anyway.)

Right I stiffened the rear shocks up which cured rubbing but then turned it into a death trap to drive pressing the brakes remotely hard results in the back end coming round just like a go-kart. So looks like i've gotta to take the plasma cuter to the arches or fit smaller spacers.
