Anybody else get annoyed with the Accident and claims adverts??
I was installing a fire alarm at work but they gave me the wrong ladder and it slipped and I fell hurting myself and got £5k.
Errr. you install alarms knew the ladder was wrong but still put it up and climbed it???
The law and claims systems seem more and more geared towards getting money for stupid people on technicalities.

What really pisses me off is people milking it just for gain.
If its legit, then fair play but some claims are just plain common sense failure s. Like the kid that was on the tv about stubbing his toe getting a couple of gran.

His parents were just proper fuck sticks. I'd like to wipe the smiles of their smug faces by feeding them his foot!

However, I do agree, if an Employer doesn't treat you fairly because of an accident you sustained at work, ie sack you for being off too long, then thats a different story.

problem is being a retard is normal these days. nobody has common sense either! common sense has been outlawed by health and safety legislation because society has become too stupid and people are too thick to take responsibility for thier own actions.
